Correcting Prophetic Mindset

Correcting Prophetic Mindset

I want to correct a misunderstanding and a mindset many Christians seem to be stuck in year after year.

Getting a prophetic word from God is to encourage you to step out in faith to do what you are called to do.
Walking in the supernatural with God always takes faith for each step forward gaining ground. The most common mistake people do is to sit and wait for God do move on your behalf. It is rare that God moves alone and solves the problem without you playing your part.

When you read about how Moses and the Israelites crossed the sea they did id by faith.

“By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned”

You see by each step the water was split before them. if they would have been walking on dry land. they would not have needed faith to Cross.

When you get a prophetic word that you know is from God or has been confirmed by 2-3 witnesses. those are words you start building with, warring for and fighting with.

Gods plan is for you to be a coworker and to do things with him. Gods plan is not to be a sugar daddy providing and taking care of your needs and grow you up as a spoiled brat. No God will cut the feed to you when you behave and approach God with that mindset. The heavens will shut on you.

Moses cried out to God multiple times. but
when you read more about Moses God also said to him these powerful words. Moses YOU DO it. you raise your hand and split the sea.

Elijah took his cloak, rolled it up and struck the water with it. The water divided to the right and to the left, and the two of them crossed over on dry ground…

Who divided the water ?? Did God to if for Elijah?

What I like to teach is this “God is always moved by faith” but that does not mean God will do and respond to every act of faith. However when you move in faith and you start walking the life in faith – step by step you start demanding more and more of the heavens to walk with you and come into agreement with you.

Faith is grown and faith is built. and sometimes faith is supernaturally given for certain tasks to move the hand of God.

We can take multiple scriptural examples like when the disciples are supposed to feed the crowd and they do not know-how. But Jesus says to them. YOU DO IT!

Jesus wants and desires us to walk and move by faith. not by what we see. but the fact is – In order to do that, and be able to move the hand of God we have to live a life in the spirit and live in the supernatural realms of faith.

The sad fact is this most Christians are waiting for a breakthrough, and at the same time God is waiting for them to move so he can bless their faith and move on their behalf.

Most Christan seem to live with a mindset of whatever happens happens. and are not taking authority over their lives and families and building with God.

There seems to be no action plan, blueprint, drawing or a vision drawn or mapped out for their lives.
Poor planning is a perfect plan for failure and chaos or walking 40 years in circles in the desert.

I love Habakkuk. when he says, “Go up to the high place. Sit listen and observe what he will say to you. write the vision and plain tablets so you will not lose your way of direction.”
