Guilt and shame are some of the “Christians” worst enemies. What I mean by that those are demonic tools Satan the enemy of human souls uses to immobilize and break down boldness in God’s people.
Your not good enough…. your not holy enough… who do you think you are… God cant favor you….. your dirty rotten sinner. ……
Lets talk about this and let me start by laying a foundation l from 1 john 2:1
My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.
When demons see a crack in your defense they will use it to try to break you. Jesus said a very powerful statement that can change your life.
John 8.32 If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Its not by praying 5 prayers per day and obeying the commandments of Moses not. Knowing the truth will set you free. Let’s go over this statement again.
If you ABIDE in my word.
You are truly My disciples.
You will know the truth
The truth will set you free.
Lets talk about another thing. The devil and demonic world does not have access to your thoughts or your spirit!
He may blluff you to think that. He does not read your mind. However, you need to understand that he has been watching the falling human race for thousands of years so based on that he can predict human behavior.
Just like computer programs can do like facebook and youtube can sort out your interest by watching over you what kind of videos and advertisements you watch. the computer program reads your behavior and bases its future predictions on that.
Lets go back to the beginning and talk about guilt and shame. All of us who desire and want to be good Christians we read the word and we pray and we aim to by holy and acceptable before God. but then we are suddenly hit from out of nowhere with a strange thought of saying something bad do someone, stealing something, rejecting somebody or having sexual thoughts or lust, getting sudden angry thoughts out of the blue and bitter thoughts.
Lets clear something up. Bad thoughts are not sinning! But they can lead to sin if you give into them and allow them to grow in your mind. Remember Jesus Was tempted in every way known to man. Hebrews 4.15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are–yet he did not sin.
When you are tempted – dont allow temptations to put guilt and shame on you. that as yoke and bondage the devil loves to play with. You are FREE
John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Galatians 5.1 says this so beautifully
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Do not be burdened by a yoke of slavery! You are FREE you have been bought with a price.
Shake of the bad thoughts reject them apply the word of God when bad thoughts come temptations of all kinds come against them with the word of God remember here above we talked about living in the word and knowing the word. then all you need to do is pick up the sword of faith the word and fight back don allow bad thoughts and temptations to set in you and grow roots cast them out.
make your mind like Teflon for bad things they just will not stick to you.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed at the revelation of His glory.…
