One of the reasons multiple people are not seeing breakthroughs and prophetic promises coming to pass is that they are not taking responsibility and plowing into the word.
Even though God speaks to you that you shall become a Prophet or a Pastor or minister that does not mean you become one. However it is an invitation of partnering with God for his purposes with your life. Those purposes are not made for you to walk alone in.
Look at this scripture here 2 Tim 4:2
Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
BE PREPARED!
If you get a call from God you prepare and study for the calling. Hearing from God does not mean sit down dance and wait for a supernatural gift… but to earnestly pray, prepare and partner with the word.
The truth is most of us are lazy bunch of people and rather want to cry out to God than actually doing the work. We hide inside church buildings in prayer meetings and conferences and make our Christian lives about those. Instead of coming to church to celebrate what we have done last week out on the field. The Sunday service has become a sit and receive kind of a thing and for some people it stays like that for decades.
I think Jesus would stir up a lot of Church nests and push the eagles out to fly and learn to soar today.
Uncomfortable? Who said faith is suppose to be comfortable – Pure faith never is! – For faith longs to grow and with bigger steps and bolder moves it creates a stepping stone to move up the ladder of faith.
If you desire to grow, prepare yourself for being uncomfortable and cold until you grow into the new mantle. and when that mantle starts to feel comfy cozy do the same thing again, and again, and again.
Hear God encourage you and say WELL DONE… keep going. I am proud of you. I am with you, I love you. Lets do this together!
Taking steps of faith and allowing yourself to grow in it is one of the most giving and rewarding feelings to me. its like arriving at a new place and knowing that you own it and that no one can steal it or take it away from you.
