Walking Into The Future

Walking Into The Future

If we cant see the future we cant walk into it or towards it. Because we will not know what direction to take.

When we look at the best athletes in team sports we will see them run to the future and place themselves at the right place to get the ball passed to them. It looks simple, but they have actually mastered the skill of reading the future. They read and know what their teammates will do in order to play into the future so they move according to what they see. and boom GOAL.

When we read about the 12 spies we see that only two made it into the future they saw flowing in milk and honey. the other 10 died.

God had promised the Israelites that they would be able to conquer the land with its indigenous Canaanite nations. Moses instructed the spies to report back on the agriculture and lay of the land. However, during their tour, the spies saw fortified cities and resident giants, which frightened them and led them to believe that the Israelites would not be able to conquer the land as God had promised. Ten of the spies decided to bring back an unbalanced report, emphasizing the difficulty of the task before them.[4]

They gave Moses this account, “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are very powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there.”

— Numbers, 13:27-28

Two of the spies — Joshua and Caleb — did not go along with the majority and tried to convince the Israelites that they could conquer the land:

Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”

— Numbers, 13:30

However, the Israelite community believed the majority’s conclusions. All of the spies, except Joshua and Caleb, were struck down with a plague and died.

The failure of seeing the victory sent them walking in circles in the desert for 40 years. Do you ever feel like you are walking in circles in your life?

What you may need to do is practice seeing the future and Gods power to take down the giants in the land.
allowing yourself to dream.

Psalm 126
When the LORD brought back the captives to Zion, we were like men who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

When you SEE and move in faith it opens the doors for God to move on your behalf in a powerful way!
