Our Different Perspectives

Our Different Perspectives

a 5 year old child sees the world from its hight. an adult in normal size will have far greater oversight of the world. Now that does not mean that what the child sees is not true. The truth is that the child may even have sharper vision and see into cracks and holes the grownup does not notice or see but the child can not see life from the higher perspective the grownup can.

Each one of us has a different perspective, and we are often watching different sides of the same coin. We can argue how the coin looks until we both see and learn that the coin has two different sides. Walking in wisdom is sometimes simply acknowledging that what others see can have a point and just trying to see from their level of insight may help you understand their view of things.

Giving ourselves time to listen to people can save us a lot of arguments, actually in Proverbs 11:14 we read
Where there is no counsel, the people fall;
But in the multitude of counselors, there is safety..

I am not saying that everybody is right, no on the contrary. But sometimes if we allow people to talk and share their insight instead of beating them with the bible we can learn something then twist and spin it and reply to them with deeper insights and truths from heavenly insights.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
