The Difference In Our Callings And Giftings

Test Image 1000x650

I love the difference in our callings and giftings. Just within the prophetic realm, we have multiple gift mixes. Some are more of seers. while others are dreamers. Some have just a strong impression of words come flowing from their inner being.

You get my point that we are so different in our gifts but we all need room to grow and practice to gain confidence in our spiritual gifts. The best way to do that is to test drive them in a safe environment like in this group.

In this group, we have so many people that are so gifted but need the opportunity to finetune their gifts.

The truth is though we have gifts they are not perfected in us at the time they are given. It is just like with professional athletes – similar law is at work.
We need to train and practice to become good.
Giving a prophetic word is one thing – reading the person you are giving it to is another part that needs to be learned. The road to a person’s heart may need twists and turns. That is something we do not have access to on social media. The facial expression and body language of people we minister to can help us greatly in how we put into words what God is saying. It helps us sharpen our words and the areas God is highlighting to us.

Now the interesting fact is also that if we do not keep the spiritual gifts activated the tend to hibernate within us. It happens slowly. If an athlete stops to practice within a few weeks the body will start to adjust to less movement and the capability to do what it used to will slowly become less and less over time.

But the interesting fact is that the body has muscle memory and People that have been in good shape are quicker to gain their “former” athletic abilities than people that have never exercised or been in great shape.

What I am saying is this – If you have taken time to sharpen your spiritual gifts and you feel you have fallen away from it or one into hibernation When you get back on the move the navigation will come quickly to you.

This is why I recommend our team here to try to pray for and prophetically minister to about 3 people per week.
It keeps us alert and in listening mode.

The prophetic ministry should not be draining and boring to us. it is an honor to serve God and speak life into the ground. When Serving becomes a dry boring mandatory “job” we need to take a break – and find our passion again and connect to the Holy Spirit.
