I want to share something with you. Over the last years I have been hearing God share with me things that are out of my sphere. Like showing me some nations of the world and what to pray for, and then seeing it in the news the following days. Or Leaders I have no connection to and how to pray for them. I could count up a long list but my point for writing this is not to tell you I am an accurate prophet or anything of that nature.
When I was young and a child in God that mattered to me to prove something or have something to show and trying to find my identity in being some man of God. Because I heard God and had something to say.
and the more accurate important things I would share the more exposure or coverage I would get. and the more important I would feel.
I know many prophetic people understand this, and I know you all have gone through this.
Prophetic people are often or pretty much always people that have gone through rejection and have had a hard time to get a listening ear or someone to help them understand the spiritual walk they go through.
Seasoned prophetic teachers, fathers, and mothers are so needed to raise up the next generation of prophets and prophetic ministers to understand revelations and Gods language to us.
Here is the thing that I have learned over the years. Sometimes God speaks to you the most detailed things about all sorts of things. The purpose is not to have you running around the world and social media boosting about how you hear God.
God speaks to his prophets in secret to build friendship and a relationship so that you will know his voice. In my nation growing up, I never had access to any prophetic leaders nor did I know about any of the level I was seeking to learn from.
So God had to build me up in secret and isolation.
No local Church, no local ministry, no internet, no social media. A bible and a prayer mountain was what I got.
No crowd, no people to share with. Just me and God.
Those years I utterly fell in Love with God. To know A God that speaks to you on that level of love care and friendship. I could count up amazing things but I will not. I want the focus today to be..
“Why does God show me these things”
- The answer is this – To teach you, train you and draw you into a deeper relationship. If you do not know what more God has for you, you would not seek it.
- You will look back and review and know God told you this, and that before it came to pass. That builds track record, confidence and strength in you to step out when time comes to decree and declare what God is saying to people, culture, nations and cities.
That is why it is very good to write down in a book the things you hear God saying to you and sharing with you.
or even just create a secret group on social media.
What I like about that idea is that your writings/prophecy are stamped with a time and a date. That is a good reference to have.
God speaks to you and shows you things in the future to teach you and build confidence in you that you hear his voice. Some are to share others are between you and God.
